Leadership

In addition to this, I am president of Key Club and I was secretary beforehand. I am also Vice President of the DECA (business) club at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. I qualified and competed in DECA states last year. I am the vice president of the Spanish Honor society. I am also a member of peer ministry, leading retreats and spreading the catholic faith through my school.

Captain of Cross Country and Track and Field:

I am in charge of communication between coach and athlete. I lead the team through my example and help encourage my peers to improve. I help push my teammates during hard practices and during races. I lead warm up, stretches and drills. I have been captain of the varsity cross country and track teams since my sophomore year and will continue in this roll until graduation.

Vice President of the Senior Class and former Junior Class Representative:

Junior year I was elected to be a representative of the Junior class. I was one of 11 representatives in charge of unity among the grade and the whole school. We created many events to promote school spirit and we also ran events that benefitted the community like food drives and cutting our hair for cancer patients. I was recently elected vice president of the senior class. I am now, along with the president, responsible for running the senior student council.
